Here we have an authentic Astro Base w/ Scout Car, manufactured by Ideal Toys in the 1960's. These are getting pretty hard to find, and will make a great addition to your vintage space toy collection! CONDITION : Colors are still vivid, decals are still in excellent shape.

There are some minor cracks that are hard to see. The battery terminals have some corrosion, but a crafty collector can repair this. The controls for the scout car are loose from the control panel, but all other controls appear fine. One missile is missing from the scout car, and the launcher that holds that missile is broken.

I think it came with an astronaut, but I'm not sure and that figure is missing if it did. I'm not at all familiar with this toy, but I believe those are the only issues. Actual pictures shown, please view the photos and judge for yourself.
