LEGO set 6823 - Surface Transport. Is a Classic Space set released in 1983. It contains a wheeled ground vehicle and a yellow Classic Space astronaut. It is also included in 1977 Space Value Pack and 1999 Space Value Pack. The set builds an articulated surface exploration rover with'balloon' style tires and carries one LEGO astronaut minifigure.

There is a storage bin on the back of the vehicle covered by a hinged door, and clips to hold a'metal detector' minifigure accessory and an antenna. The sides of the rig have ladders, and there is a light on top.

The astronaut is equipped with a metal detector. The set for sale is brand NEW, sealed in its box since 1983. This is a very hard-to-find set still factory sealed, making it an ideal addition to any vintage LEGO collection.
