1968's Estrela Tin Robot with its Original Box. Fully Operational - Very Good Condition - Made in Brazil - Battery Operated. It is truly an unbelieveable piece of artwork in tin, for the design and actions are characteristic of the fifties/sixties' robots, as well as it is sturdy and strong for surviving ill-use of naughty children when playing. Its actions are awesome: it walks, it spins, fires (lights blink) and produces shooting sounds. The robot's on/off switch is operational, on the side of his head. There were 3 versions of Robot, this one being the oldest one, dated 1968 and made in Brazil. This one in particular is pretty similar to the famous Japanese ones made in that time. The technology applied in these robots is amazing, especially when you consider the walking movement and the sound playing, all simultaneously.
This Robot is in very good shape, completely original, with its original box. There is no rust in the battery compartment. Please look at the pictures for details - there are plenty of them, but if you want some more, please ask. All actions and lights work perfectly and watching this robot working is really something to be proud of!
