Vtg Mattel SPACE 1999 EAGLE 1 SPACE SHIP 31 Long Whiteness Restored

Restored Mattel Space1999 Eagle One from the 1976 British TV Show of the same name. Pre owned and in excellent condition. All stickers have been replaced as they were severely aged. Still shows a slight shade of yellow but hardly noticeable.

Fitment tabs on the winch had broken off so I have modified it to work. Everything you see in the photos is included. 3 Figures, 1 Pistol, 1 Rifle, 3 Backpack (one with detached shoulder strap and one missing a shoulder strap), 3 Helmets.

NOTE: The snap tabs on all of the grey pieces IE: Winch, escape hatch, seats and the weapons rack are quite brittle, and I have had to glue a couple of them back on. Buyers should understand that the age and rarity of this awesome spacecraft makes it a collectible and not an actual play toy. These pieces are simply too delicate to play with.

No 3 D printed parts in this collection. Some of the new decals have somewhat weak adhesive and may lift up from time to time. The nose section and red engine section are detachable and can be joined together to make a small reconnaissance craft. This item is about 95% Complete with only original parts (except for stickers and add on bulkheads). The winch had no tabs and has been modified to work. The Escape hatch has a broken hinge that has been repaired. Its brittle and the Hatch is best left closed. It will open but the. Will snap off if its made to open beyond its design limits. One side door is missing 1 of the hinge pins.

The door still functions and the door still closes firmly into place. All figures are original and are in good condition. The hip movements are a bit loose and the seated figure is very loose. The belt harnesses are quite delicate and are best left alone.

2 are complete and one is missing pieces. Fitment tabs on the winch had broken off (and lost) so I have modified it to work. The winch works and includes original rope and hook. Fitment tabs on the weapons rack have broken off but for 1. I thought about simply gluing it in place but figured I would leave that up to the new owner.
