I have seen a number of Ideal Toy astronaut helmets, but never another with the NASA logo. The helmet and visor are clean and bright with very few scratches.

The black metal strap on top of helmet shows some paint loss. Two of the vinyl loops inside the helmet have crumbled. The uniform, which is made of a metallized cloth with a white flannel lining, is in good condition with little to no fraying; patches show good color and definition.

The helmet measures approximately 11 inches tall by 8 inches wide. The uniform is labeled a size 12; the overall length is 46 inches, with an inseam of 22 inches, a sleeve length of 22 inches, and a chest width of 17 inches. I played with these a few times in the 60s, but I stopped and ithey were packed in storage until now.
