1985 TOMY SPOTBOT aka Potch robot dog with Box VERY RARE Japan version
Vintage 1985 Tomy Potch robot dog, also released and known as Spotbot in Western markets. This is the super RARE Japanese version. A hard to find collector's item especially with the box and in this condition!
The Potch robot/toy has been tested and works. It's in Great condition and has only been handled very lightly. One thing worth noting is that Potch has what appears to be a small dark smudge on its upper back (please see the last photo). The original box is in good condition with minor dings, scuffs and very light marks. Please note that's the photos is what's included. This battery-operated "home robopet" dog was introduced by Tomy in Japan in 1985. It features a classic bump-and-go action mechanism, moving forward, shaking its head, wagging and chasing its tail, and changing direction when it bumps into objects. Battery not included - it needs 1 "AA" battery.The item will be packed securely in a box with bubble wrap and packing paper to prevent damage in transit. All items will be packed securely.
