Lego Vintage Classic Space set 924/487 Transporter with Original Box

Is a Classic Space set released in 1979. It contains a spacecraft, a small forklift and two Classic Space astronauts (one red and one white).

This set was not available in the US, where the identical set 487 Space Cruiser was available instead. However, both spacecraft had the number "LL 924" printed onto their hulls though. The spaceship was similar in color and design to the smaller 918 Space Transport and the bigger 928 Galaxy Explorer. The cockpit had enough room for two minifigures and could be accessed by tilting back its roof. The rocket engines and the aft fuselage had to be tilted to the sides to access it. LEGO 924 with the original instructions and box is a set-in great demand among serious LEGO collectors and a very difficult one to be found.

You rarely seen one for sale with the original instructions and box. The set for sale is 100% complete. Up to the tiniest detail. And it comes along with the very rare original box and original instruction manual. Nothing is missing, nothing is broken and all bricks have the correct colors.

The set itself, the original instructions and box are all in good condition. The printed bricks are in excellent condition. All bricks are cleaned and sanitized and well packaged in zip nylon bags. The mini figures included with the set are in good condition with nice moon logos on the chest. They come with the correct helmets, solid stud heads and the hollow torsos without bottom tube.

The very rare and hard to obtain Light Gray Vehicle, Forklift 2 x 2 Plate and Light Gray Fork (Complete Assembly) is included in very good condition. There are no signs of corrosion on the spring. The rare Light Gray Cones 4 x 4 x 2 without Axle Holes are both included in excellent condition. The very rare parts 3479 Tails 4 x 2 x 2 are included in very good condition. There are two in blue color and four in light gray color. All six have no cracks and I emphasize this because this is a delicate part. The rare parts 3940 Light Gray Supports 2 x 2 x 2 Stands are all four included in great condition. All Trans-Yellow parts are included and are in excellent condition. The original instructions are in acceptable condition and are kept in a protective nylon foil. The original box comes along with the inner cardboard tray. All bricks are stored in zip log bags inside the original box. I have included many pictures but you know what they say " A picture is worthy of a thousand words ". This is an opportunity to add in your Lego Classic Space collection a very set-in great condition that comes along with the very rare original box and original instruction manual. A hard-to-find set and a must for every serious LEGO collector. I emphasize again that the pictures show the exact items you will receive. It will be end packed in a hard box taking all the appropriate safety precautions, with the indications "Fragile" and "Do not Bend" on the front of the package.
