Rare Vintage 1960's Red Version SPACE EXPLORER ROBOT by Yonezawa Batt-Op Tin Toy. A very rare Red Version of the "Space Explorer" Robot by Yonezawa. This is an awesome robot is all made of red painted tinplate and it has a very unusual and complex transforming mechanism. It initially looks like a TV set but when it turns on, the body rises up, the arms extend, the head emerges from the box with blinking lighted eyes and a TV screen with a 3-D effect is revealed. The robot then walks along for a few seconds until the process reverses and the robot drops back into it box form.
Made in Japan by Yonezawa, circa 1967. This played-with toy is all original and complete, without any replacement, with minor markings and scratches here and there. Front and perfect working order with all the actions.
