A small tin and plastic hopping robot, based on the Japanese Mighty Robot Carrying Apollo by Yone. The robot is made of lithographed tin with a wind-up jumping mechanism, pulling a plastic rocket attached to its back, giving the impression of being chased by the rocket.
Unknown maker, made in Argentina, circa late 1960s. This very unusual space toy car is documented in the book "Tinplate Toys from Argentina" by Diego Lascano & Daniel Sudalsky. 7 inches (18 cm) long. Absolutely original with minor markings here and there toy in working order. The upper part of the box is somewhat creased, and the bottom part appears to have been replaced in the past.
So it is very important to check the pictures. Otherwise, in very good overall condition. Photos are part of description. We do not sell reproductions or modern items.
