Vintage 1954 Tin Friction King Jet 8 Racer Space Car TKK Japan Rare

This rare 1954 KING JET # 8 space car racer is Made by Tanaguchi - TKK. The bubble top is heat distorted but has no cracks and is very clear. This car is in nice condition.

Comes with a repro box. The King Jet 8 tin racer was made in Japan, blending elements of jet-age futurism and high-speed racing.

Measuring 12 inches in length, this friction-powered racer was designed to captivate with its sleek, aerodynamic body, race cars and futuristic rocket-powered vehicles. The friction motor works well, making engine sounds, and shoots spark out of the two back rockets, which can be seen through the red engine covers on the top side of the rear fenders.
