Vintage 1960's Horikawa Rotate-o-Matic Super Astronaut Japan Robot Space Tin Toy

Horikawa "Rotate-o-Matic Super Astronaut" Robot. Up for your consideration is a very clean, all original example of the iconic "Super Astronaut" robot made by Horikawa (Japan) in the 1960's. This is in very well looked after condition and would be a great addition to anybody's collection. The robot it cosmetically in excellent condition overall. Some very light paint rubbing to the chrome plastic parts as pictured.

Unfortunately the toy is in non-functioning condition. The battery compartment is clean with no signs of corrosion at all so the issue is likely a loose wire inside. The box is complete and in great shape.
