Vintage 1960's Space Explorer Ship X-7 Flying Saucer Japan Battery Operated Toy

This is a very nice and clean vintage space toy made by Modern Toys (Masudaya). Very nice and clean condition with just light marks. The lithograph colors are nice and bright, no dulling. No severe marks or rashes.

You can see a little difference in the blue color on the bottom. It is not a repaint, it is just discoloration. The battery housing is corrosion-free. It operates on 2 D cell batteries. It moves & rotates corectly.

The lights flash and it has sound (bangs and pops). It is a little flakey when you get it to operate.

I usually have to shake it a little bit side to side or turn it over for the electiric to engage. However, I have turned it on many times and within about 2 seconds, it starts running and I set it on the table and it operates from there.
