Vintage 1987 GI Joe Cobra DEFIANT Space Shuttle Complex Playset Near Complete
The only missing pieces are the umbilical cord and one of the tiny bombs that goes on the turret of the booster. The item is in great condition with some wear. The gantry doors and crawler wheels are unbroken. There are some issues: On the left side of the crawler, the there is a broken off piece of the catwalk (piece is included).
One of the hinges that holds the orange windshield in on the left of the crawler is broken, but the piece is included. Two of the round red turrets are missing tabs to hold them onto the crawler. The blast shield that flips out on the inside has one hinge that is broken. On the inside of the booster, the airlock door has one of the pegs broken off and has some super glue residue where the previous owner tried to repair it.
Two of the gray turrets on the booster have significant stress between the ball joint and the turret and are practically falling off/damaged. The shuttle has one door where one of the hinges is broken.
The shuttle's center stabilizer fin is broken, but included. Other than that, everything is intact. The crank works and lowers and raises the whole thing and works best when you assist and guide it due to its age and weight with the booster and shuttle in place.All pieces are original and authentic.
