Vintage 60s Moon Rocket Battery Operated Toy made in Japan With Original Box

Vintage 1960's Non-Fall Battery Operated MOON ROCKET with 2 Astronauts in its original factory box manufactured by MT (Modern Toys) JAPAN. This toy is in excellent vintage condition.

It takes 2 standard "C" cells batteries not included. In working condition lights up and drives around the Non-Fall Feature detects where there is a drop-off and turns around! We can share a video of it working separately if needed. The moon rocket measures 9 1/4" long and stands 4" high.

The rocket commander in the cockpit and the astronaut both have plastic helmets and faces while the space suits are made of tin. There are a total of six colored lights. Would make a terrific space age tin toy for a collector.
