I owned one of these'Made in England' Merit Dan Dare Space Control Radio Station sets in the early 1960s as a child. It was great fun and I bought this set about 30 years ago and I have never been used it - it was a display item.

I tested it when I bought it and have just tested it now and it is in working order, as you can see from the photograph of the light, which is very rare in my experience. I will post fully insured and it will be carefully packed (please see my feedback) but these sets are 60 years old so please bear that in mind. The only negative is one of the little aerials in the handset is missing, I think it has dropped inside the handset because the handset rattles. They serve no purpose other than decoration.
