The solution is to remove the aircraft from the rails, rotate the tires slightly by hand, and then return it to the rails, which will return the motor to operation. Another solution is to run it at a speed that will prevent it from stalling in the first place. In the end, I was able to get it to run smoothly even at slow speeds. For the rails, you'll need to bend the metal parts with your fingers to ensure they make firm contact.

Also, the plastic of the rails isn't very flexible, so it's easier to connect them by angling them at about a 90-degree angle. Please be careful not to break them.
