RARE 1st Model Vtg Tin Litho SPACE RIDE Wind-Up Toy J. This is a very nice example of, what I understand to be, the rarest version of the J. Chein SPACE RIDE mechanical carousel toy.

As you can see this piece comes with only three space rockets, rather than the four as pictured on the original box. This toy is in fine working condition. Although, the sound that it makes is not terribly musical. I would describe it as a loud mechanical whirring noise. Overall, this piece presents beautifully, but there are little scratches and paint losses here and there.

But I would rate it as very nice or near mint. From five feet away it looks amazing.

The original box is included and in somewhat fragile condiiton with one flap completely worn off and the other not far behindbut still attached! The silk screened side panels still look pretty good.

One side is torn, though(see pics). BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS. I strive to receive 5/5!! That's they're new system. Heavier items will cost more.

So I do sometimes add a couple of dollars to the cost to cover myself. I guarantee everything I sell.

However, I go to great lengths to provide correct measurements and nice big pictures of every detail. If you fail to do so, or the piece doesn't fit properly, I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do. However, I sometimes don't get around to leaving the feedback for a week or so.
