Vtg. Lego MTRON Sets (6) 6956 Stellar Recon Voyager, 6923, 6896, 6833(x2), 6877

This lot contains six Mtron Space sets from the early 1990's. Read the following descriptions of each set. All elements (99% to be on the safe side) are in like new condition. The Mtron astronauts are all in like new condition, showing no wear.

6923 Particle Ionizer fom 1990, with instructions. This set is 100% complete. 6896 Celestial Forager, from 1990, no instructions (however, they are online). The photograph shows one red wheel I have ordered the part (black wheel) and it wil be here prior to mailing. The set is missing part #2476a, a 2x2 plate w/pin Type 1.

I have used a regular 2x2 plate w/pin, however, to make it work, I hot melt glued a regular 2x2 black plate to it--and it works fine. A red 2x2 brick w/pin (#4730) was missing to hold a wheel. The set called for 4, I only had 3, and I substituted a black 2x2 brick w/pin (#4730)--it does not show (the wheel hides it).

6877 Vector Detector, from 1990, is 100% complete with instructions (one substitution). The gray door w/Mtron pattern (4346p68) was replaced with a plain gray door. 6833 Beacon Tracer, from 1990, is 100% complete, with one substitution. There are two of these sets and only one instruction. One is totally complete, the other has two substitutions.

The canopy is plain and the striped 2x2 black sloped brick is plain black. 6956 Stellar Recon Voyager, also from 1990. Unfortunately there are several missing pieces and I do not have the instructions. I have substituted the gray doors w/Mtron pattern (4346p68) and replaced them with a plain gray door. It is missing 2 TrNeonGreen round brick w/fins (#4588)--I added some 1x1 round neon plates to go into the boxes.

I have subbed 2--3x3 red sloped bricks for one 3x6 red sloped brick w/Mtron logo. Unfortunately, there are 4 red space windows outward sloping (#4741) that I do not have.

I was on hold for 20 minutes with Lego Corp today, and these pieces are hard to come by. The red ones only came in this set. Instructions are available online for all of these sets. I receieved the black wheel today for the Celestial Forager.
